When approaching a global new business pitch on the level of Unilever – a company that has multiple brands across many markets – we needed a visual language that could speak to that.
In the end we settled on using a rainbow graphic, integrated into imagery to represent how Unilever products can literally touch nearly every part of someone's life. After the intial submissions, we needed imagery that was more distinctive and also more adaptable to all the producst and markets we were pitching.
Our solution was 3D illustration style, since we could use it for all the products and markets more easily, while giving it a distinct look versus plain stock photos that most markets would have access to.
Along with that we created custom branding, including a logo for the team to use across all pitch materials. We also had printed materials, including letter size written submissions and things like custom folios and labels for custom juices at one of the meetings.
